HONOR FLIER – HAPPY BIRTHDAY FIGHTING SAILOR –
Fred Barthe, Lt. Cmdr. U.S. Coast Guard Ret. started his military career in the Navy during the Korean War when he was combat air crew in a Skyraider off a carrier deck.
Fred Barthe is a stalwart full spectrum volunteer Coffee 4 Vets Vets 4 Veterans Antelope Valley Honor Flight Kern County and for other veteran community projects like The Mobile Vietnam Memorial Wall – AV Wall.

Anthony Kitson another Korean War Era vet who served in Southeast Asia for most of the Vietnam War thanked Fred for getting him signed up for Honor Flight Kern County veterans travel all expense paid to Washington D.C.
