Volunteer Appreciation Event held at Edwards AFB

Col. Carnduff “Thank you for all you do”, was the Volunteer Appreciation Event held at Edwards AFB on Friday and Coffee 4 Vets was recognized as a volunteer organization that helped Airman & family members in 2024. We look forward to continuing our efforts to support Edwards in 2025. Many thanks to Marlene Simock, Event Chair for this wonderful and fun event. VIETNAM VETERANS WELCOMED HOME – National Vietnam Veterans Day was honored in the City of Palmdale at Poncitlan Square. Vietnam combat aviator Mauro Reza was recognized as Veteran Of The Year with presentations by Congressman George Whitesides, state Sen. Suzette Valladares, and Mayor Richard Los. The 4th Annual Welcome Home was organized by the Antelope Valley Boots On The Ground Alliance. Colors were presented by Marine Corp League Detachment 930. AV Young Marines assisted in welcoming the older veterans.
