Coffee4VETS June 28, 2022 Announcements. AMAZING VETERANS –Terry Wagner was gifted a big Marine Corps history book, opened it and found out he’s in it. The Year of Tet, 1968. Everyone fought everywhere, and too many never came home. Sgt. Wagner got to come home, Semper Fi. We have our lost brothers. We have our friends who survived. Every Tuesday at Coffee4Vets. Crazy Otto’s on Avenue I in Lancaster where the coffee is free for veterans every Tuesday. The freedom, not free. Never was. Never will be

American Legion Auxiliary Harry V. Bailey Sr. Post # 476 – 1st Stand Down Resource Fair in Kern County

Jack Lacy, Commander of the American Legion Auxiliary Harry V. Bailey Sr. Post # 476 invited the veterans to their 1st Stand Down Resource Fair in Kern County, supporting Veterans with much needed services. Many Veterans from the AV came out in support. Thanking Eddie B, VSO for bringing out the VA support team that were very busy helping veterans. There were other vendors in support of the fair along with a DJ, and Dean Brown, AVVCAC. Also there was the Cricket Cell Phone rep., who was offering Free phones to veterans that qualified. Everyone had a fun time getting the much-needed help, food & clothing supplies while meeting friends and enjoying a meal.
