VETERANS HONORED AT TAMARISK ELEMENTARY – For years children at this Palmdale Elementary School in its central city area have learned love, patriotism and gratitude for the men and women who served in our armed forces. In the week before Veterans Day they showed what love of America looks like. Veterans were treated to a great buffet after beautiful ceremonies of music poetry and history. It was an honor to represent High Desert Medical Group, Coffee4Vets and Vets 4 Veterans Antelope Valley at this inspiring event. Click on the images to view gallery.
Marine Corps Birthday
You all know how the Marines Love to Celebrate! Marine Corps Birthday this Sunday, Nov. 11th. at Bravery Brewing, 5:00pm.
The Veterans Military Ball 2024
Brig. Gen. Douglas Wickert, 412th Test Wing Commander, and Col. Ahave Brown, 412th Maintenance Group Commander, attended the Coffee 4 Vets Veterans Military Ball in Lancaster, Calif., Nov. 2. The Veterans Military Ball is a special event designed to provide an opportunity for local Veterans to attend a military service ball that they may have not been able to attend while in service. HDMG SENIOR EXPO
At the High Desert Medical Group Senior Expo on Thursday. We ALL tied a Yellow Ribbon round our hearts for veterans, POWs, and a celebration of Tony Orlando’s career honoring them. … and backstage at Senior Expo A special “Thank You” to The Mobile Vietnam Memorial Wall – AV Wall for sacred artifacts of the Vietnam War. And a special “Thank You” to Coffee 4 Vets for pouring out hundreds of cups of coffee and Antelope Valley Blue Star Mothers Chapter 14 for keeping it sweet. A final “Thank You” to all the splendid Veterans Service Organizations that helped High Desert Medical Group make this year’s event such a success for ALL our seniors and all those who served in our armed forces who showed up to hear legendary entertainer Tony Orlando share his songs, his experience and love for our country.
