At Tuesday’s Coffee4Vets Marine vet Terry Wagner, Cmdr VFW Post 9375, alerts community about Saturday’s service outreach at Central Park in California City. Out on Rancho Vista Golf Course Fairway, Vets 4 Veterans Annual Golf Tournament thé outfit’s President Gerry Rice, Vietnam 101st Airborne, declares victory on another successful event. At Run For Joey 5 K Walk/Run Antelope Valley Blue Star Mothers Chapter 14 Dee Black and Jessica Mellick ran to raise funds in honor of Joey Lopez-Pratti and Darkhorse Lodge. HONORABLE SERVICE – Brig. Gen. Douglas Wickert, commanding 412th TW at Edwards AFB, Flight Test Center of the Universe, thanked dozens of veterans for their service Tuesday morning Coffee 4 Vets CO Wickert thanked the veterans for their service prevailing in wars both cold and hot and said U.S. military mission is to preserve freedom’s frontiers worldwide. And Felix Mayerhofer, USAF veteran of Korean War Era, described his exhilarating visit to Washington D.C. as all expenses paid honored guest Honor Flight Kern County. At 94, he said seventy something veterans wished they enjoyed his good health. The Honor Flight veterans visited all military memorials in nation’s capital. Click on the images to view gallery.
