Ave I, Lancaster, all Branches of Service gather to share a cup of coffee and good times while hearing information from an array of service providers on how to live better. A VETERAN BREAKFAST – At Tuesday’s gathering of veterans at Crazy Otto’s Restaurant the crew took stock of all the Veterans Day (week) activities. The Marine Corps Birthday. Vet Visits to Edwards Air Force Base and Tamarisk Elementary in Palmdale. Veterans Day observed at Lancaster Cemetery and Poncitlan Square in Palmdale. Spectrum Government Affairs Representative Steve Sawyer presented a (very big) check for $1,500. At the 2024 Veterans Military Ball the High Desert Medical Group was a proud sponsor. Every Tuesday at Crazy Otto’s where the coffee is free, the information on veterans quality of life is essential and the camaraderie is priceless. Click on the images to view gallery.

At the High Desert Medical Group Senior Expo on Thursday. We ALL tied a Yellow Ribbon round our hearts for veterans, POWs, and a celebration of Tony Orlando’s career honoring them. … and backstage at Senior Expo A special “Thank You” to The Mobile Vietnam Memorial Wall – AV Wall for sacred artifacts of the Vietnam War. And a special “Thank You” to Coffee 4 Vets for pouring out hundreds of cups of coffee and Antelope Valley Blue Star Mothers Chapter 14 for keeping it sweet. A final “Thank You” to all the splendid Veterans Service Organizations that helped High Desert Medical Group make this year’s event such a success for ALL our seniors and all those who served in our armed forces who showed up to hear legendary entertainer Tony Orlando share his songs, his experience and love for our country.
