Coffee4VETS Morning Breakfast – April 30, 2024

HONORABLE SERVICE – Brig. Gen. Douglas Wickert, commanding 412th TW at Edwards AFB, Flight Test Center of the Universe, thanked dozens of veterans for their service Tuesday morning Coffee 4 Vets CO Wickert thanked the veterans for their service prevailing in wars both cold and hot and said U.S. military mission is to preserve freedom’s frontiers worldwide. And Felix Mayerhofer, USAF veteran of Korean War Era, described his exhilarating visit to Washington D.C. as all expenses paid honored guest Honor Flight Kern County. At 94, he said seventy something veterans wished they enjoyed his good health. The Honor Flight veterans visited all military memorials in nation’s capital. Click on the images to view gallery.

Coffee4VETS Morning Breakfast – February 27, 2024 

COFFEE4VETS TUESDAY – At Crazy Otto’s Diner longtime host Jin Hur was recognized and honored by Congressman Mike Garcia, Assembly Members Juan Carrillos and Tom Lackey, also County Supervisor Kathryn Barger and City of Lancaster via Councilwoman Lauren Hughes Leslie. Councilwoman Leslie installed the new Board. Every Tuesday 7-9 a.m. at Crazy Otto’s the best briefing to help veterans live better with elected representatives informing on legislation, nonprofits describing services, VA and representatives explaining claims process. It’s all there. Veterans where the coffee is free and the camaraderie is priceless.
