The VA Open House
IMPORTANT UPDATE – The VA Open House set for Friday, Sept. 12, 10 à.m., has MOVED. Location now set for ELKS LODGE 1625, 240 E. Ave. K, Lancaster. Elks Lodge is a great central location with excellent hosting facilities. This is the place where veterans can access VA for claims, health and benefits, disability claims. High Desert Medical Group will join with other Veterans Service Organizations from Antelope Valley. Veterans may have legit complaints or grievances with VA but beat remedy is to communicate and stay connected either all organizations that can help.

Jim Hogan – Rest in Peace
Today we are sad to announce that our veteran Brother Jim Hogan, Vietnam Navy Veteran passed away yesterday in his sleep. In this sorrowful time, we at Coffee4VETS would like to extend to you our heartfelt condolences to the entire Family and fellow veterans of the Santa Clarita community. HONORABLE SERVICE – Brig. Gen. Douglas Wickert, commanding 412th TW at Edwards AFB, Flight Test Center of the Universe, thanked dozens of veterans for their service Tuesday morning Coffee 4 Vets CO Wickert thanked the veterans for their service prevailing in wars both cold and hot and said U.S. military mission is to preserve freedom’s frontiers worldwide. And Felix Mayerhofer, USAF veteran of Korean War Era, described his exhilarating visit to Washington D.C. as all expenses paid honored guest Honor Flight Kern County. At 94, he said seventy something veterans wished they enjoyed his good health. The Honor Flight veterans visited all military memorials in nation’s capital.
