The United States has observed Black History Month in February as a Month-long celebrate honoring the contributions made by Black Americans in our country. Black History traces its origins back to 1926, when the Association for the Study of African American Life and History designated a week in February, chosen to coincide with Fredrick Douglas, Feb 14th as what was called Negro History Week. There is nothing move motivating as knowing that people who look like you achieved great things.
