At Tuesday’s Coffee4Vets Marine vet Terry Wagner, Cmdr VFW Post 9375, alerts community about Saturday’s service outreach at Central Park in California City. Out on Rancho Vista Golf Course Fairway, Vets 4 Veterans Annual Golf Tournament thé outfit’s President Gerry Rice, Vietnam 101st Airborne, declares victory on another successful event. At Run For Joey 5 K Walk/Run Antelope Valley Blue Star Mothers Chapter 14 Dee Black and Jessica Mellick ran to raise funds in honor of Joey Lopez-Pratti and Darkhorse Lodge. AN ANTELOPE VALLEY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND – The solemn ceremonies at Lancaster Cemetery and City of Palmdale’s Poncitlan Square. The memorable crew of veterans hosted by Coffee 4 Vets at Lancaster Elks Lodge for the Walter Sapp Memorial Day Barbecue. A big weekend of ceremonies and respectful gatherings demonstrating to the world at large that the Antelope Valley honors those who served the nation’s armed forces, living and dead.
