VIETNAM VETERANS WELCOMED HOME – National Vietnam Veterans Day was honored in the City of Palmdale at Poncitlan Square.
Vietnam combat aviator Mauro Reza was recognized as Veteran Of The Year with presentations by Congressman George Whitesides, state Sen. Suzette Valladares, and Mayor Richard Los.
The 4th Annual Welcome Home was organized by the Antelope Valley Boots On The Ground Alliance.
Colors were presented by Marine Corp League Detachment 930. AV Young Marines assisted in welcoming the older veterans.
Other groups participating included Antelope Valley Coffee 4 Vets as well as Vets 4 Veterans Antelope Valley and VPAN L.A County Supervisory District 5.
