AIR FORCE, ALLIES, LEADERS – Coffee 4 Vets today Brig. Gen. Douglas P Wickert brought the leadership team.
They were joined by United Kingdom Allies from RAF Squadron 17 led by Cmdr Stephen Collin’s, Royal Navy, with a squadron legacy that goes back to World War II.
Rounding out the passing of the torch was a new
generation of leaders, the California Cadet Corps studying at Rosamond High
Kathleen Crowley-Staats of Antelope Valley Blue Star Mothers Chapter 14
announced the passing of Ida Ketchum.
Ida was a founding presence at Antelope Valley Blue Star Mothers Chapter 14 a career NASA professional of the Space Shuttle program and one of the originators of the “Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Parade” down Lancaster Boulevard that united generations of veterans during the Post 9/11 wars.
She was a Coffee4Vets and NASA Retiree constant and will be missed by many.
